Where is it on?

CarriageWorks 245 Wilson Street, Eveleigh and its surrounds.

How can I get there?

Cycle:
Cycling to CarriageWorks is easy as the roads are quite flat. Cycle via Wilson Street bicycle lane, there are also ample racks on site.

Public transport:
CarriageWorks is an eight minute walk from Redfern Station. Redfern Station is easily accessed from Central, Town Hall, Wynyard and Circular Quay. Most lines travel via Redfern including Northern, North Shore & Western, South and Inner West. Macdonaldtown station is also nearby. The closest bus stop is the Sydney University stop on the corner of Codrington Street and City Road. From Central, take the Newtown buses 422, 423, 426 or 428, as well as the 370 or 352.

Shuttle Service:

Courtesy of Australia In Style (AIS) shuttlebuses will run from Carriageworks to Redfern station on both festival nights. AIS is committed to supporting the creative arts in Sydney ina tangible way.

Shuttle Timetable

Sat 12th: 8.30PM - 11.30PM
Sun 13th: 7.30PM - 10.30PM

Parking:
The theme of the festival is 'Love Thy Neighbour'. In line with this we are encouraging people NOT to clog up the neighbouring streets with cars but rather take advantage of the easily accessible public transport or RIDE YOUR BIKE! If you absolutely have to drive, arrive early to allow sufficient time for parking. Street parking is limited, and try to avoid Wilson St to give the residents there a break! There are a small number of unrestricted spaces on Forbes Street. We recommend pay and display on-campus parking at the University of Sydney. It's open to the general public. It costs $2 an hour, maximum of $6. Enter from City Road, three blocks north of Wilson Street via Codrington Street.

Where is food and drink available?

CarriageWorks has a café and licensed bar serving a range of delicious snacks, meals, hot, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Each evening during the lab the bar will be open!

There are also a range of cafes and delicatessens on Wilson Street.

Who is putting this on?
Underbelly is presented by Rinse Out Inc with CarriageWorks. Rinse Out Inc is a not-for-profit association supporting emerging and experimental artists through innovative events. CarriageWorks is a proud presenting partner of Underbelly, contributing many resources to make this project a reality. See the 'About' section of the website for more details.
